There’s more people in a venue normally which means more politics. It’s a generalisation but the more people the more politics normally. In my humble opinion ladies working independently have left because of all the politics in a venue, let’s face it these venues normally consist of a house full of woman.

This must be a rhetorical question? Venues are basically a house full of woman and we discussing as to whether or not there would be politics inside the house? C'mon guys

It's human nature, the more people you have together the more politics you will get. Its unavoidable. I've spoken to a few ladies who actually left the industry completely because of politics at the venues. 

It's a pity but it's a fact of life.

You get politics in every company there's just a perception that venues are worse than average. My experience has been that ladies at venues stick together more than in corporate. People will be people.

I am convinced there's less politics in venues then there is in a normal office environment!

By office politics Im referring to the strategies and tactics people use in the workplace to gain power, influence, and advantage over others. It can be prevalent in almost any organization and can be both helpful and disruptive, depending on how it is used.

In some workplaces I have worked, office politics is a way of life, with employees vying for power and influence over their colleagues, often at the expense of others. This type of environment is highly disruptive, and often leads to negative consequences such as decreased productivity, decreased job satisfaction, and increased turnover. 

I truly haven't noticed this while speaking to ladies from multiple venues over the years. Yes of course you get your occasional tiff and someone storms out but generally I'm lead to believe there's much more of a camaraderie between the ladies.

Coming from a conventional office environment for more then 25 years I can honestly say it SUCKS!!
