Hello @Rudi.V1 thanks for your candid comments, they are much appreciated.
We hear your request for more ladies - as they say - variety is the spice of life - and we couldn't agree more, afterall this is the premis from which our industry operates.
Problem is two fold - brand new talent is scare and much of the talent that is available ends up at other venues which maybe don't have the same business principles as we do.
We get contacted on a weekly basis by ladies who are currently in the industry, we unfortunately cannot always assist them as they come from establishments with a very different set of business rules - the most important being - coming to work every day.
The "come and go as you please" principal doesn't work for us as it offers no consistency and always ends up in a sub standard level of service being offered which would not work for us or our clients. There are a multitude of venues out there boasting 8 to 14 ladies on paper but in reality only 3 or 4 pitch up for work which defeats the object...
Over the years we have lost many ladies to the industry primarily due to them wanting more flexibility and adopting a "come and go as you please" arrangement with the venue owners. Once the novelty of this new found freedom wears off - which normally happens when the money runs out - they resort to venue hoping and as we all know this normally signifies the end of their careers.
We try our best to have a constant flow of brand new talent to satisfy the needs of our clients and feel we have still been industry leaders in this regard.
In fact, we currently have "brand new talent" this month September 2025 - ladies that have never been in the industry and have been trained by the best in the business - perhaps give our front office a call and let them set you up, so to speak.....

As a long standing client of both Mendelssohns and Velvetglow I really enjoy both venues and like the way the receptionists run the business, I have always been made to feel special upon entering and I have yet to find a cleaner more hygienic venue in Pretoria.
However, I like variety and find that the 4 or 5 ladies at each venue simply isn't enough as I like to move around and experience a bit of what each lady has to offer. I would genuinely visit more often if you just had more ladies. Are you envisaging getting new ladies in anytime soon?
